Earslaughter Productions is very proud to present the second edition of the MONTREAL EARSLAUGHTER FESTIVAL, taking place at one of Montreal’s best established underground venues, Les Katacombes, on June 2nd-3rd, 2017. Montreal Earslaughter aims to bring fans the best in Extreme Music, showcasing a wide array of acts both local and international, with a heavy emphasis on Grindcore, Powerviolence & Death Metal.

The festival is located in the heart of the Cartier des Spectacles, an important cultural tourist spot in Downtown Montreal. Katacombes, an independent Punk & Metal themed showroom and bar, is conveniently located on Montreal’s famous St-Laurent Boulevard, providing easy access to hotels, public transportation, and all the go-to attractions for any visitor’s stay in the city. The venue is also known for its dedication to the Underground Music scene. At a capacity of over 300, and a private outdoor patio and bar, the pairing for Extreme Music and good times in this location is unquestionable. No stranger to successful Underground and D.I.Y. festivals, Katacombes also houses the Wings of Metal and Varning from Montreal festivals, and is the official terrace and bar of Heavy Montreal.

Our programming includes not only face-crushing music from around the world, but an invitation to explore the Montreal, Quebec Extreme Music scene. Many local businesses, vendors, and sponsors will be on hand, including our official beer sponsor Le Trou du Diable, a Quebec Microbrewery. A Canadian/Cajun BBQ will take place on the patio throughout the weekend, with vegetarian and vegan options, of course.

Montreal is known internationally for its music scene, regardless of the genre. We invite you, fans, bands, and businesses to partake in what promises to become a staple of the Underground & Extreme scene here in North America. Do NOT miss the second edition of  EARSLAUGHTER FESTIVAL.

C’est avec fierté qu’Earslaughter Productions annonce la deuxième édition du MONTREAL EARSLAUGHTER FESTIVAL, qui aura lieu les 2 et 3 juin 2017 dans l’une des meilleures salles underground, Les Katacombes. Montreal Earslaughter souhaite offrir aux fans ce qui se fait de mieux en matière de musique extrême et présenter une grande variété de groupes autant locaux qu’internationaux, en se concentrant surtout sur le Grindcore, Powerviolence et Death Metal.

Le festival aura lieu en plein cœur du Cartier des Spectacles, un centre touristique et culturel du centre-ville de Montréal. Les Katacombes, une salle de spectacle et un bar indépendant à saveur Punk et Metal, sont avantageusement situées sur le célèbre Boulevard St-Laurent, ce qui facilite l’accès aux hôtels, au transport en commun et à toutes les attractions touristiques qui pourraient intéresser les visiteurs. La salle est aussi reconnue pour son dévouement envers la scène musicale underground. Pouvant accueillir plus de 300 personnes, en plus de son bar et de sa terrasse privée, personne ne doute que cet endroit est synonyme de musique extrême et de festivités. Familiers avec les festivals underground et indépendants à succès, Les Katacombes accueillent également les festivals Wings of Metal et Varning from Montreal, en plus d’être la terrasse et le bar officiels du Heavy Montreal.

Notre programmation comprend non seulement de la musique extrême en provenance des quatre coins du monde, mais aussi une invitation à explorer la scène musicale de Montréal. Plusieurs commerçants locaux, vendeurs et commanditaires seront disponibles sur place, y compris notre commanditaire officiel de bière, Le Trou du Diable, une microbrasserie québécoise. Un BBQ canadien et cajun aura lieu sur la terrasse durant la fin de semaine, avec options végétariennes et végétaliennes, bien entendu.

Montréal est une ville internationalement reconnue pour sa scène musicale, peu importe le style. Nous invitons les fans, les groupes et les commerçants à participer à cet événement qui promet de devenir un incontournable des scènes underground et extrême en Amérique du Nord.
